Climate change and sustainable living has been a frequent topic in my work. This photo was taken after a period of rainfall that devastated the Madison, WI area in September 2018.
I have many thoughts on the dark future that so many in positions of power are forcing us to sleepwalk into, but feel that this photo conveys that disappointment, anguish, sorrow, and smoldering far more simply and clearly.
I won’t give up on a better future, no matter how much the realities of climate change erode my sense of hope. If you feel the same, then I sincerely hope you stay strong and stay involved.
