Minuscule white ridges running throughout the sweeping ridges and tilting circular formations of a statue's base.

The base of a statue in which I saw the satellite imaging of a furious storm – a safe, silent replay that conveys nothing of darkness at midday, of gentle wind brought to a chilled howl, and of clouds crawling with what started as flashes of lightening.
