Random debris found behind a small town retailer. I was drawn to this scene by the weathered paint and bloom of rust marking the service panels, but had no interest in a color photo. To me, the metal, asphalt, and tree cuttings were equally lifeless, equally disregarded, and equally forgotten. It only seemed natural to render them equal in tone.
